Where does Dr Wright see patients?

Dr Wright sees private patients at three London hospitals - Charing Cross Hospital (Imperial College Healthcare Private Care), The Princess Grace Hospital (HCA Healthcare UK), and The Harley Street Clinic (HCA Healthcare UK) - and offers home visits across Central, West and North-West London for patients for whom a home assessment is more practical or clinically appropriate.

Dr Wright is recognised by AXA, WPA, Vitality, Aviva, Allianz, Healix and Bupa. Please confirm cover, authorisation and any claim requirements directly with your insurer before booking. If you have an authorisation code or claim reference, you can include it in your enquiry if available.

Do I need a GP referral?

Some enquiries come through a GP or consultant referral, while others may be self-referrals or insurer-led. Where more information is needed, Dr Wright's team may contact you, your referrer or your GP as appropriate before an outpatient appointment is arranged.

What happens after the assessment?

Dr Wright provides a written report and clear management plan. Follow-up, further investigations and recommendations are discussed and agreed with the patient. With the patient's consent, the report can be shared with the GP or wider care team.

Can Dr Wright carry out a financial capacity assessment?

Dr Wright does not undertake financial capacity assessments. If this is something you need, she can signpost patients and families to appropriate support during the consultation.

Can Dr Wright help with dementia - diagnosis, complications and changes in behaviour?

Yes. Dr Wright assesses memory concerns and confusion, including whether symptoms may relate to delirium, a dementia subtype or another cause. She supports patients and families through diagnosis and everything that follows - managing the complications of dementia, changes in behaviour, and the everyday lifestyle challenges the condition brings - always working with the patient and family to develop a kind, practical plan for what comes next. Appointments can be at an outpatient clinic or as a home visit where that is more practical.

Can Dr Wright help after a fall or with balance problems?

Yes. Dr Wright assesses recurrent falls, balance problems and unexplained blackouts or collapses in older adults. She works with the patient to get to the bottom of what is causing the problem - and agrees a practical plan, whether that means further investigation, changes to treatment, or steps to reduce risk and build confidence.

Can Dr Wright review the medications an older relative is taking?

Yes. Medication review is part of every assessment. Dr Wright reviews how several conditions and their medications interact, including the impact on daily life, and rationalises medication where appropriate. Families often arrange an assessment specifically for a polypharmacy review of multiple medications.

Yes. Home visits can take place at the patient's home or in a care home or assisted-living setting, and Dr Wright carries out regular care-home visits across West London as part of her practice.

I'm worried about an elderly parent - can Dr Wright help?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Dr Wright sees older adults with frailty, memory concerns, falls, complex medical conditions, or multiple medications. A family member or carer can make the initial enquiry, and the appointment can take place at an outpatient clinic or as a home visit where that is more practical or clinically appropriate than travelling to a clinic.
